Why this project exists

Creativity needs a place where it can work unadulterated. This platform emerged from the desire to showcase one's own work – from photography to illustration to conceptual designs – in a clear, distraction-free environment. No noise, no superfluous effects, only what matters: the idea and its execution.

The ambition is simple: each project should speak for itself. That's why the focus is on reduced design, thoughtful typography, and navigation that puts the content in the foreground. Those who browse here should be able to immerse themselves – without having to fight through cluttered layouts.

For visitors, this means: they see real work samples, not staged promises. Every page, every post shows a concrete step in the creative process. Whether you design yourself, commission work, or are simply curious – here you will find substance instead of empty phrases.

Creative Identity & Positioning

I am Jürgen Plattner – designer of digital content and creative projects. My work is aimed at people who appreciate clear, reduced aesthetics and want to transform their ideas into modern, professional formats. The tone is factual, precise, and inviting, without exaggerated promises.

For over ten years, I have been developing visual concepts for web, print, and interactive media. My focus lies on the connection between functionality and expression – every project begins with a thorough analysis of the target audience and the message to be conveyed. Collaborating with clients from the fields of culture, education, and technology has taught me that good design primarily needs one thing: clarity. That is why I rely on minimalist layouts, thoughtful typography, and a color palette that radiates calm without appearing boring. My approach is participatory: I see myself as a companion who structures ideas, visualizes them, and transforms them into actionable results. From the first mood board to the final delivery, I value transparent communication and timely completion.

What I stand for

  • Reduction to the essentials – without unnecessary decoration
  • Craftsmanship care in every detail, from grid layout to microtypography
  • Sustainable solutions that still feel contemporary in five years
  • Honest advice – I say when an idea does not fit the project
  • Flexibility in implementation: whether static page, interactive gallery, or print product

My Development

From the first sketches to a professional platform – the key milestones of my creative journey.

First Own Website

After my studies, I built my first personal page using a simple website builder. The goal was to showcase my thesis work and initial freelance projects. The site was static, but it worked.

2017

Switch to a CMS

With a growing number of projects, the static site became impractical. I switched to a flexible content management system that allowed me to create custom post types and galleries. Maintenance became easier, and load times remained acceptable.

2019

Focus on Typography and Layout

A redesign was due. I reduced the color palette to two accents, chose a sans-serif font family, and optimized the grid for mobile devices. The bounce rate dropped by around 15 percent.

2021

Integration of a Digital Portfolio

Instead of individual project pages, I introduced a searchable gallery filterable by categories. Each entry contains a short description, technologies used, and a direct contact option. The number of inquiries noticeably increased.

2023

Own Brand and Consistent Presence

The personal page evolved into a small brand with its own logo, unified social media profiles, and a newsletter. Today, the platform serves as the central hub for collaboration and press inquiries.
